  1. tbh im disappointed
i spent over 20 hours drawing my piece and my computer had crashed multiple times. i know it wasn’t the most professional piece but i put my heart and soul into it.
i mean i guess i can understand it, but i’m disappointed.
    and jealous.
    congratulations winners!

  2. Wow, what a disappointment…
My favourites were the tribute song, the light and the painting by high and drunk in that order.
Tbh the piano medley wasn’t very good arranged and the samples were quite cheap compared to the other two songs. And the light was an original and truly creative approach and quite refreshing to see among the endless sea of paintings. And also well made.

    1. Not sure how I feel about the grand prize winner of a ‘creation / fan art contest’ being a straightforward cover of the actual theme from the game. Don’t mean to be too negative – he is a talented musician to figure it out and play the song, but I’m not sure the entry was significantly more creative or ‘original’ compared to others. I think it’s really really cool, just surprised to see it win top prize in the contest. All that said, some cool stuff here, and lots of other beautiful entries that didn’t win anything people should check out on twitter with #oricontest.

  3. It’s so awe-inspiring to see what happens when the community comes forth with such creativity. You guys all rock and I’m so proud to be included in a fan base with such talented people! And a special congratulations to the winners- amazing! 🙂

  4. Wow, as a musician and an artist I was amazed by all the entries! As an aspiring composer, I understand how much time, skill, and talent it takes to write a medley like that. And to perform it too? You’re awesome James. The rest of the art was beautiful but I totally agree with the winner they chose.

  5. Seriously amazing! That composition that won the Grand Prize was spectacular! It brought me to tears! James, you totally deserve it! It is sad that people are jealous 🙁 Don’t let that discourage you! You are an inspiration! Great job!
